 Richard L. Hardy

Richard L. Hardy has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the construction industry. He established The Hardy Group, a Design-Build Construction firm in 1982 in response to the marketplace's need for personal attention to quality and building value. Trained in Cost Effective Design-Build Construction, Value Engineering, and Practical Applications, Richard is certified throughout the state of Florida to build all types of buildings. Richard takes a very "hands-on" approach, and is actively involved in each project The Hardy Group undertakes.

Richard received his MBA from Jacksonville University. He is designated as a Design-Build Professional by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), and is a Certified General Contractor.

Richard has served on the board of THE PLAYERS Championship Boys & Girls Club here in St. Augustine for 9 years, and is currently the Board Chair. He is a firm believer in the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, which is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
