Minister A. W. Barlow, is a product of the Duval County Public School system having graduated from William M. Raines High with honors in 1979. He subsequently received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1983 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1985. In 1988 he married his college sweet-hart Cassandra D. Barlow and the two recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary with a complete reaffirmation of vows. Minister Barlow is the father of three and the grand-father of two.
Mr. Barlow initially embraced the lofty goal of becoming a trial attorney at the tender age of 13 and by God’s grace and providence achieved it at 24. By profession and God’s calling Barlow is the CEO of A. Wellington Barlow, Esquire, P.A. Attorney & Counselor at Law and has over 25 years of court room experience protecting the legal rights of people from all walks of life. Attorney Barlow is licensed in Florida and Georgia having satisfied the character fitness and academic requirements of both states. He is currently an active candidate for Circuit Judge in Florida’s 4th Judicial Circuit with jurisdiction in Clay, Duval and Nassau Counties.
By God’s separation for spiritual service, Mr. Barlow is a fully ordained Gospel Minister operating in the office of Evangelist. Minister Barlow is the founder and overseer of Breakthrough Prayer Ministries Incorporated which is a Florida based 501c3 certified not-for-profit Corporation birth out of his home church First Timothy Baptist, F.D. Newbill, Sr., Pastor. Through the World Wide Web, Breakthrough Prayer Ministries (www.breakthroughprayerministries.net a/k/a www.btpministries.com) ministers to over 100 countries around the globe addressing e-mails and prayer requests from as far away as South Africa, the Middle East and Asia. On the local level, Breakthrough Prayer Ministries conducts bible study programs and missionary, ministerial evangelistic “Events” in public housing projects addressing the needs of the poor and less fortunate with cooked food, clothing, children’s books, toys and over $1,000.00 worth of grocery gift cards. Minister Barlow’s personal mission is to boldly proclaim the pure unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and be used by God’s Holy Spirit to save lost souls from utter destruction in the Lake of Fire!
